I bought this ipod dock to replace my old one that had half of the speakers not working and not being compatible with my ipod touch 2G. This dock looked promising so i decided to purchase it. I can confirm that this is compatible with the ipod touch 2G. This dock was a little smaller than expected, but does just fine. The sound quality is pretty good, but if you have a bad quality mp3, it will sound even worse on this. The remote control is small, and does what it has to. The biggest disappointment of this product is the FM radio. It’s blind. You scan random stations not even knowing where you are. And if you tap on the dock while in radio mode, it changes stations not knowing where it went. Also I must point out that you can’t tune the radio with the remote control. The best part of the radio is the antenna which is fairly good. Overall this is a good ipod dock. If you want this also for the radio, look for something with an led display.

I have owned this product for almost 2 years now, it is the best alarm clock I have ever owned. Love the Ipod feature, that is why I bought it. Just like waking up to nice soft music in the morning. Kinda starts the day off nice. Only problem I have had with it was one night I was drinking a little too much, and knock a beer all over it. I did the ah $&^%* and quickly clean it off. I know this Alarm clock is not water proof nor beer proof, So I thought I was going to have to purchase a new one. Well from the day on this unit, is still working perfectly and the beer dried up. So it can take a beating or I just luckly. Who knows. But she is still running like a champ. Worth every cent. And have beer on me:)

I got this docking system in 2008 for my birthday and it still works great to this day. The alarm is excellent and the sound quality is very good. I got mine at Big Lots for and after seeing the price of it on here I realized I had quite a steal. I would definitely recommend this. The only complaint I have is that my remote doesn’t always work and I have to take the battery out and in put it back in to get it to work again. It might just be a defect with my remote though.

Works great! I was concerned (from other reviews) that the thumbwheel might be hard to operate through the plastic shield, but it works great. That the case clips on to the armband and is easily detached is a bonus, as is the clip for wrapping up the excess cord from my earbuds. If you have especially large arms the armband might be a little small, but not a concern in my case . . .

Although this item is advertised as compatible with the iPod touch (third generation), it has a specific design flaw that makes it incompatible. The hole for the light sensor is misplaced for this iPod, causing the screen to be dark when automatic brightness adjustment is enabled.
The case’s other features are great and it isn’t very bulky. The inclusion of a screen protector is great. I highly recommend it if you use the older second generation iPod touch.
Since I couldn’t find another case that fit my needs, I came up with a few workarounds for the light sensor issue for those that use this case with a third generation iPod touch. You can disable the automatic backlight adjustment, or you can lift the top part of the case that covers the light sensor when unlocking your iPod. For the adventurous (okay, not really) you could cut a hole where one should be.
